Here is what is going on for the middle of August. I have cleaned out the planter across the front window and am getting ready to put in pavers so that the only thing I can put there will be potted plants. Lots of succulents that don't require much water
I have also dug out most of my Irises and will get them ready to plant for next spring. I also share the plants with anyone who wants them.

Another project was to sew a quilt square for a quilt raffle to benefit the Internet Miniature Pincher Rescues. I am not a quilter and this was a challenge I really didn't need. I think I need to learn more about the basics of quilting before doing another one.

Meet Brandee, a very sweet dog that I am fostering until we can find her a home. It may be awhile, because she has kennel cough and is extremely thin. I will tell you that she has improved a lot in the past week that she has been with us. Her appetite is coming back and while she is still coughing and sneezing it will get better with good food and rest. She is 12.5 inches tall and weighs 8 pounds, a little big for a lap dog but that doesn't seem to stop her.
